The American energy landscape is changing, and that means more and smaller energy generators distributed across the nation, rather than just a handful of power plants.

Even as we change, we must honor and preserve our heartland and pay respect to our agricultural heritage. It is the backbone of our nation's strength and history.

CPT works with our landowner partners to establish "agrivoltaics" - dual use of land for both solar and agriculture - on every site that we can.

We practice the following:

Sheep grazing on solar farms
Planting of native, pollinator-friendly seed mix
Where possible, cultivation of shade-tolerant, hand-harvested crops
